Indian Wedding Rituals in Bali

PREWEDDING FUNCTIONS
A special Engagement or Announcement Party. Roka. Godh. Tikka. Ring Ceremony. Bachelor’s Party. “Mehendi” and a “Sangeet” Ceremony (Traditional Indian Regional Music) usually done prior to a Indian Wedding followed by Reception.
WEDDING PROCESSION
A special “Baraat” will come from the Grooms place to the Venue. The groom will sit on a decorated Horse/ Buggi/Elephant and will be escorted by horses with lancemen, camels and elephants. There will also be Mashalwalas, silk & flower Chatters, Brass Band, Petramet Lights, Punjabi Dhols, Fire Eaters, Kacchi Ghori
There will be Rajashani folk dancers and court dancers welcoming & Thematic receiving of the Baraat,the Groom & the Bride and escorting them into the venue, his family members with a traditional dance, fireworks & Thematic Vedic music in the back ground . in Bali we can combine this with Balinese style Baraat. Instead using horse/animals, couple of balinese men with balinese clothes will carry the Groom with a litter (special carrier with bamboo) and followed by the balinese flower girls and Balinese drums (Balinese Dhol).
ROYAL RECEIVING OF BARAAT
Princely receiving of Groom along with male & female Court dancers, Chaandi ka Chhattar, Bankia Band.
Princely receiving of Bride along with male & female Court dancers, Open Palki, Bankia Band, Flower Umbrella.
Royal Jai Mala Ceremony along with traditional performances & court dancers. Hydraulic & or Revolving stage, Sun & Moon Theme, Niagra Falls, Flower Rain. Confetti Blasts. Flower Shower from Helicopter with the Vedic chants of Shalokas in the background.
It can also be designed with certain other ways.
THE WEDDING CEREMONY
A special Hindu wedding ceremony will be conducted by a priest in front of a “Havan” or small fire where Vedic chants will be spoken by the priest, blessing the wedding.
The couple will be shifted to a Villa, a Champagne bottle, Cake and a Butler will also be provided.
Wedding Photography and wedding Video will also be arranged.
POST WEDDING CEREMONY : RECEPTION
Special dinner for the Couple and the Guests will be organised. The couple will do cake Cutting, Champagne toast ceremony, Childhood Memories will be shown, followed by First Couple Dance and join the Guests for Dinner. A special Regional meal SAJJAN KOTH for the family will be served on special silver or Gold “thalis” (Plates). A Regional dance will be performed followed by live Indian classical music or D.J.along with Dance floor.
THE WEDDING NIGHT
A special candlelight dinner will be served to the Couple with a bottle of Sparkling Wine, Butler at service.
A specially decorated Villa filled with flowers and the traditional glass of flavoured milk (Badam) that is offered to the groom by the bride. 2 bedtime drinks (Badam milk), dry fruits, cookies and fresh fruits will be kept in the room.
AND THE NEXT MORNING ……….
A special champagne for the bridal couple in their room.
